I played the game multiple times in the past but encountered a weird issue today. I am in the Shard of life expansion and at level 5 onwards the game crashes whenever a lizard dies. I play on iPad, and it never happened to me before.

Have you tried reinstalling the game completely? This somehow sounds like a corrupted data file.

^I will try that. I tried starting a new game by deleting my progress, and went straight to the Shard of life. As soon as I encountered a lizard, the game crashed again.

Sorry to bump, but here is an update:
I erased my progress, then deleted the game from my iPad and reinstalled it. The same crash happened at the first lizard encounter in Shard of life, whenever I kill it. So odd. Might there have been a game update that broke the game somehow?

Did your iPad get an update since you last successfully played it?
Maybe the game has a bug that only shows with a recent iOS version? Can you try on a different device?

I updated today to the latest version of iOS and the same bug happens.
Sadly I don't have access to another device.

I have the same problem. The game crashes every time I kill a fire salamander. Normal salamanders and other enemies still can be killed so I finished every book except The Cave Of Fire.

I think it's because they update to the new game version (2.1.12) to support newer iOS and somehow cause bug to that type of enemy.

I was able to finish The Cave Of Fire by using another iPad on iOS 10 and the game version 2.1.11. (If you have another iDevice on iOS 8-10, AppStore will offer you version 2.1.11, because the newest version 2.1.12 requires iOS 11+).

Then why did the Embracer Group split Onoma up?
Because it works so good?

It doesn't seem fair to be treated with a split after such magnificent display of intelligence, combined in an art form in videogame finesse inspired by a "Japanese" boardgame GO. Boardgames, that saved Tomb Raider in the first place with $.

Is the Embracer Group afraid for the next Lara Croft GO? Or did they intentionally mean to be difficult for the next Japanese GO boardgame sequel?

So wait, does this mean games like Deus Ex Go will literally disappear completely and be unplayable anywhere? I don't understand how they can do that. I bought that game so it should be accessible always otherwise I should get a refund.

This is why I always want physical copies of everything.
