Default Tomb Raider Anniversary: Retold - Topic v2

Part One is now avaliable! Get it here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=O24GY2I5

Tomb Raider Anniversary: Retold is basically a fan-made Tomb Raider: Anniversary Edition - both Core and Crystal gave it a try, Core's version got cancelled and Crystal's was a bit empty, with a lot of the original game's brilliant locations cut out, the characters personalities wrecked (except for Larson), and a feeling that the whole thing was just a bit rushed. Our version plans to remake Tomb Raider properly, making it bigger and better than ever before, using elements from TR1, Core and Crystal's Anniversaries and our own imaginations.

The game will be released in five parts, one for each of the game's locations and then an extra one for Unfinished Business. Then we'll compile them all together into the full game. There'll also be a slightly inferior Mac version of the game.

TRA: Retold is the biggest TRLE game ever made, and also the first TRLE game in which all the characters have high-definition meshes.

Nice screen

I'm having problems with my manor, i wish i could do another level.. But if you want me to stick with the manor thats ok, especially if the manor is absolutly nessecery.
'Mind spelling.. tired'
I was thinking i could do a much more.. easy level, where i do not have to worry about the objects not been built. And the views of how people wish the manor to be like, so.. if Teeth could take this to consideration that would be great.
Don't get me wrong.. i still want to be in the project alot. Trust me..

The manor is getting too confusing.. and i'm sick of manors tbh.
Teeth if you could go on msn soon, and we could sort something out.. here or there.

Bye now

Ooh, very meaty! It looks great with the John Capon textures, but it wouldn't hurt to use some from Anniversary, like the lava and blue archways with symbols and stuff. And if you want animated pulsating walls, the TR1 ones are the best, as you can't have animated textures bigger than 64x64.

I'll send you the object pack right away.

Oh...
It was really hard to sort out textures so that the texture-set fits without crashing the LE.
But well. I'll see if I can add some other textures.

And you shouldn't have pictures in the quote .
Just remove the .

PH wants to know: Should we use his new forward roll animation, or the classic turning roll animation?

Personally, I think the turning one is better, as it can be really frustrating having to manually turn Lara, especially if you're in combat. WIth TREP we could assign the two moves to seperate keys...what do you guys think?

dont forget that the proper timeline for these events is as follows:

> tomb raider 1 final level (ends with sliding down)
> atlantis levels from UB (begins with sliding down, and ends with...)
> ...lara escaping the complex, and the pyramid blowing up (the TR1 ending)
> lara returning to egypt months later (UB egypt levels)

its a good opportunity to rectify this oversight.
