Default Tomb Raider - The Last Remnant

I just thought i'd make a thread about my project, how it's going, screenshots
et cetera. Anyway here it is.



------------------------------The Story-----------------------------------
This project is based after the events of underworld where Lara goes back into the underworld in search of Amanda Evert. Winston has informed
Lara that Amanda has been spotted out on a boat in the Atlantic ocean looking for something. Lara ends up finding Amanda's boat and takes some of the scuba gear and swims down to find what looks to be a facility. She spots Amanda running through one of the tubes. Lara finds a vent she can get into and thats where this adventure starts.

It's not certain how many levels there are it's still in it's early stages but i will tell what i'm making at this moment.

So as you can see I still have allot to go so don't expect it anytime soon.

WOW! I'm impressed with this. Sure there are some rough spots but it looks promising. I love the dogs to death! Did you make them?

Second screenshot gives me an AOD vibe for some reason. I forget which part though, it's all a blur.

Great lighting however I'd make those blue lights more intense and the ambence darker. But that's just me.

Also maybe have some subtle green light pouring into the cave in the last shot, and make the cave darker.

the last shot is actually on the edge of a cliff looking back towards the start which is open. I was also thinking of making the ambient in the dog room a little darker thanks

I like the looks of it so far. But there's a slight problem I'm having with your lighting. Are you using any sunbulbs at all? Lara looks somewhat flat. You'd be amazed at how much a sun bulb makes her look more 3D. Just lower the intensity of them, and color them to the room you're working with. Believe me, it'll do wonders. A sun bulb in every room ---->Key to some good reviews

Thanks for that i really havn't used sun bulbs too much but i will try to see what it's like thanks for the tip

I put sunbulbs in every room. However I make them like...12 or less intensity and adjust nothing else. I used to go nuts with them however now I've learned (like the first and second screens show very well) that the dramatic lighting is in the light bulbs, not the sun.

just tested the level then, looks allot better with the sun bulb thanks for that.

In the middle of making some more commands for the parallel bars so lara can hang on it and turn around. That and fixing her swing pole animation, she looks as though she is going to break her back
