Smile Soundtrack Requests/Assistance

Soundtrack Request Thread

Some of you may want to have unique soundtracks for your custom levels/games - please post your soundtrack requests here!

There are a few members on this forum (including me ) who would be more than happy to help you on your musical queries. Just tell us what you need/would like for your game and the musicians of this forum will try to turn those musical fantasies into real soundtracks!

Completed soundtracks will be posted to you by PM (unless otherwise stated)

The good example of rerendered soundtracks is HERE

I'd like to request something for my custom game: Obsidian Sun.

Using the fantastic soundtrack from True Blood by Nathan Barr (beautiful music), I'm setting out to create a unique and alternative atomsphere for Obsidian Sun that we have never seen in a custom level before:

I'm hoping however, that you (anyone willing) could notch something up in a similar style to above but with a few added notes reminiscent of "Lara's Theme" as shown below:

If anyone is willing to help, I'd be eternally grateful.

Ooo, sounds a bit like the soundtrack to Max Payne!

I'll see what I can do!

BTW, would you like the guitar background in the second video to feature in your soundtrack?

Here (link removed ) is something that I've made which is hopefully what you're looking for.

That's pretty darn beautiful! I adore it, fantastic work. I'll be using it most definitely. If I had one negative to say about it it would be that it feels rather raw...other than that, I'm seriously blown away. Couldn't thank you enough. You'll be credited lots & lots. I'm so happy atm. No one ever made me some soundtrack before. XD

Could you remove the download link? I'd love for it to be "exclusive content" until the game is out. You can say no, it is yours.

Thank you for your post, dizzydoil! I respect your negative comment - I only really laid out the base of the track with little variation.

Hey

I wonder if you have played my demo for the Beginning, where the title music was rerendered with Chinese instruments. I'm wondering if it's possible to have the first fight music in TR1 done the same way?

Well...OF COURSE I have played your beautiful demo! And actually I was about to ask who had written that soundtrack, as I loved it!

Would you be able to point me to a Youtube video with that TR1 fighting music? I just want to be absolutely sure which track you're talking about.

@ dizzydoil - I will soon send you a longer track with perhaps a few more instruments added in, to make it feel less 'ambience-like' and more 'tracky-like'

Can't wait. Make sure to check out Nathan Barr's work on True Blood for inspiration.
