Smile Soundtrack

Hey guys, first post here so don't be too harsh on me.
Anyway, I was watching the Batman Arkham City review on machinima's youtube channel and by the end of the video there was this ad for a webseries called RCVR and the music from the ad sounded a lot like one the samples from tomb raider rebootīs soundtrack.

Arkham City review http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u84OY6Yxg5w#t=07m08s
(7:08 and at 7:23)

tomb raider
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piNhBZgBocs#t=00m21s
(0:21)

Can you guys hear it as well or is the lack of tr9 news affecting my brain?

Did you know you can link to a specific part of a youtube vid by adding #t=XXmYYs replace XX and YY with numbers, XX = min, YY = sec.

In your case it'd be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u84OY6Yxg5w#t=07m08s

and

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piNhB...title#t=00m21s

Nice ear Not so odd. Probably from the exact same commercial soundbank, e.g. EastWest Quantum Leap library

Nothing to be alarmed about; coincidental. It may point to the likelihood of the new composer having a background in trailer scores a la Folmann and Dimitrijevic, but this is clutching at straws.

What the heck. Did some research.

Watching all 5 episodes so far to see if it reappears Currently has not, so this stands:

So Rob Lord worked for eidos, interesting, but like you said the trailer score for RCVR was problably done by a trailer score composer, and not Rob.
