Here's some impressions of it I posted elsewhere based on a video of it I found:

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVjJppbUElM

Based on this not only does it run at PAL speeds rather than NTSC (which would be enough to kill my interest in itself), but the framerate is all over place, unless they were on a crappy phone. The turning speed also seems about a quarter what it is normally, and without level design changes I'm not even sure how some of the later stuff could work like that even when not taking the mobile controls into account. I also like how the achievement list shown at the end is apparently taken straight out of Anniversary with very little context change for TR1.

So based on that video it seems to somehow be half-assed while also having default features that no other version of the game has.

I didn't like it at first but now I do.

But still...
Nothing beats playing Tomb Raider on console as PS1 or Sega Saturn for old time sake like Nostalgia.

The new textures look nice, but otherwise it's rather unimpressive.

The controls look so awkward in the video.

FINALLY!! TR2 has been alone for so long!

Edit: Wait, is this just for iPhones etc or is it coming to Apple computers as well?

It looks like it's for iPhones and iPads (touchscreen devices). The New Zealand page says:

Quote:
Compatibility: Requires iOS 7.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.

I never realized that TR1 wasn't available on Mac before, but that's really weird. I would have thought it easier to convert the PC version to Mac (and sell on Steam and GOG) instead of converting it to an iPhone version.
