Arrow Fullscreen mode in TR4 Windows 8 version?

Hi there! I bought TR4 from Steam and the game works fine but in windowed mode only.

I tried pressing Alt+Enter but it still runs in windowed mode. Is there a way to run it in fullscreen?

I use Windows 8.1

Thanks!

Make a shortcut to the game .exe file. Then, go to that shortcut's properties, click its address box, and add -setup at the very end, after the quotation marks. In my case, it looks like this:

"D:\Games\TR4\Tomb4.exe" -setup

Congratulations, now you have a shortcut to re-run config anytime you want. You can select windowed/fullscreen, change resolution as you like, etc. etc.

^ Already did that, 'Windowed' isn't selected but it still comes up as is.

It's a bug with Windows 8. TR:TLR has never had an exclusive full screen mode. It changes the resolution if needed and removes the borders only if I'm right... But it's buggy with Windows 8, the borders aren't removed and it doesn't have anything to do with the Windowed option you have in the Setup. In TR5 it's the same problem.

There's nothing to do right now, but maybe someone will come up with a patch?
I know it's possible, Paolone added an option to enable a real full screen mode in his latest version of TRNG, so maybe someone will use his code when TRNG will be open source.

I'm currently playing TRLR on Windows 8.1 in fullscreen mode without a problem. I didn't do anything other than install a border fix.

I run the game on two PC's one with Windows 7, the other with 8. Both run in full screen fine, however, both had the border problem.

EDIT: I'd be happy to share my settings to try and figure out what the problem is.

It's right here, hope it works for you.

EDIT: Oh I also had to go into the tomb4.exe property's and select the 'Disable the display scaling on high DPI settings', however, this was for a different issue, but it wouldn't hurt trying if the patch above doesn't fix your issue.
