The way they can't make Lara run without bumping into everything.
Just goes to show how simple games are now. and why did they say they would play the first level of both games when they started at 'The Lost Valley' for TR1 ?? |

Plus who wants to play caves? Lost Valley is much better. ---- It's a shame none were more interested in the original. From a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint you wouldn't think both were the same game.

One thing that stuck out to me was the girl who said “I don’t even want to play the game, I just want to watch the cutscene!”
Oof. That hurts a little. A game you watch? Nah. I want a game to play. Another thing I loved to was when they fought the T-Rex a lot of them had different reactions and that’s so fantastic to me. They ran away, faught and died, got eaten, ran to the temple steps, ran into the cave. You don’t have that anymore. Everything is so scritped that individual experiences like that are stripped from players.

I want a game to play but when cutscenes do appear I want to feel rewarded and can take a little break.

It's obvious they did this TR react because of the movie. Last edited by noonbob; 20-03-18 at 20:07. |

Blah, They don't represent everyone else. Have no fear, if classic Tomb Raider wasn't popular then the Lara Croft series and the statues wouldn't exist. There is still high demand for Classic Tomb Raider and classic Lara, just take a look at the response when RealTech said they were remastering the classics. The media picked it up fast and RealTech said that they received a massive flood of feed back when the remasters were announced. So even if these little ones don't care for the true Lara, there are tons of people out there who still do and always will.
