Default Question about Tr3Main

How do I get this to work?

I found the github page and downloaded the files but i can't use it or get it to run, any more info or tutorials about this?

This project unlike TR2Main is "instable", the exe is not in the git too, so you wont see any change, the exe named tomb3.exe.bak is just the original exe, it's only a backup
The problem i have now are on the issues tracker and mostly caused by the picture system ****
I will say it when it's "stable" but not for now, im working on the exe version, not the dll now since the render is decompiled
but i dont promiss anything, for now use the original exe.

And Can I ask you what do you plan to have in Tomb3Main ? PS1 bats. Custom water..I mean function like Tomb2Main ?

Nothing like that, appart from expanding limit,
I want to have a custom engine (level etc..) to do my custom level.
I love TR1/3 engine and Tomb3Main are just a personnal project, just in public
My new engine (Tomb3) will be private since it will be my engine.
when Tomb3Main will be finished, i will pass it to exe and distribute the exe in the release section in git.

Ooh ok great news here TokyoSU I wish you the best of luck with it, and yes using the original exe atm, all going good! But why can’t my trapdoor have no collision? Lara falls tru it..

You may need to place a Dummy trigger for the trapdoor on the square underneath it.

does your trapdoor are under a vertical portal (litteraly on it) with @SSJ6Wolf response too ?
if not lara will fall through it it's core design way

Ooh yes it’s literally under a vertical portal, is that causing it?

EDIT: YES working now, placing dummy trigger under trapdoor does the trick, so damn weird haha but thanks guys!

no it's the right way, else it will cause problem :')
but under a portal upward from the room under it

/ the room you want the trapdoor

/ the room the trapdoor need to be (in the portal upward) with dummy trigger at the real floor (not portal floor)
