Lara is wearing a nice Xmas outfit with woolly hat, to keep her warm in this adventure, deep inside the ice cold ruby mines of the Swiss mountain. This is the ruby cutting room...... Last edited by The Great Chi; 10-12-20 at 19:01. |

Yes thewolf, not long now till Christmas is here
I tend to use 'picture frame by picture frame' animation in parts of my videos where I cannot get Tomb Raider animations to do what I want. As you can see in this example below, where miner's are hypnotised to keep on working. Hypnotic eyed miner..... |

That's a great idea I also wanted to do something like this for TR2 some time ago but it's impossible to show pics ingame or edit the fmvs so I abandoned it
Cameras in TR2 cutscenes are also hardcoded sadly |

Hi thewolf, I have used picture frame animation for a long time in my videos, and windows movie player allows variable frame rates to suit the animation, ie, speed up or slow down animation. The eyes are fooled as movement at 24 frames/second.
THE AIRSHIP.... I also make lots of custom items and statics from scratch for my videos. Here is the Airship in this Christmas movie, it plays an important part in the story, and it is based on a Steampunk type of craft, where a massive balloon gives buoyancy and has propellers when needed. It was part of my original design notes for this movie, and yes I do pre-plan the movie to follow the storyline even though the plan can go astray during the making of it, which usually happens, LOL Spoiler alert: Just to prevent you lot seeing the airship in all its glorious colours, I have only shown the models 3D wireframe, and if you have plenty of time on your hands you can colour in the picture of the airship with the textures shown, like a sort of 'painting by numbers' or just wait to see it in the movie EDIT...Christmas video now added. Wow! Nicely done Chi.
What a work... You deserve the title "Great" Chi. Pierre has some bad ass moves, he's going bananas in the secret party room. Didn't know that Winston could drum. |
